Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions – the legal stuff…

While personally we detest the whole Terms and Conditions scenario we are unfortunately forced as a business to include the stuff below to protect the interests of the business. Basically if there is a problem we will do our level best to sort it out for you. I hope you understand and don’t need to read the stuff below.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DRYLINE IN PLACE (ERECT) DURING HIGH WINDS OR IN SNOWY CONDITIONS (WEIGHT BUILD UP). Beware of skirt weights when using as they are heavy. The manufacturer accepts no liability in the case of damage caused by wind or careless use.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

When you submit your order to Rotaire you are confirming that you accept the content of our terms and conditions. All orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by Rotaire and product availability. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required with order, by credit card or debit card. We accept most major credit cards.

Delivered Parcels

All parcels received must be checked at the time of delivery. Only the number of boxes received should be signed for. Any damaged parcels received should be signed for as damaged, and photographs should be taken of the damaged parcel to substantiate any claim. Any items received damaged must be notified in writing to Rotaire within 7 days of date of delivery. We are able to raise a claim on your behalf.

Non-Delivery of Parcels

In the unfortunate event that our parcel does not arrive after despatch from Rotaire within the delivery service expected time you should inform us.

Dependent upon the delivery service used we are able to raise a claim on your behalf. There are time restraints applicable for each delivery provider.

In such an event we can re-despatch your order on a new invoice in conjunction with your account status. No invoices will be refunded until the claim has been finalised.

Please send any returns to the head office address listed on the invoice

All of our goods are checked prior to despatch but should still be checked before use, as we do not accept returns unless a fault has quickly revealed itself.

Any items returned for exchange or without the correct paperwork will be charged a standard handling fee of £6.00 per parcel. A £15 handling charge will be levied on all non-faulty goods returned. Returned goods which are not faulty must be in their original unmarked packaging, and must be returned within 28 days of invoice. Please mark faults with sticky tape to identify the problem. A receipt of postage should be obtained for all returned items. Refunds to credit/debit cards will not be done automatically.

Items purchased from our CLEARANCE or SALE are non-returnable unless faulty at time of delivery. You must notify us within 7 days of any faulty goods.

Please be aware that returned items may take up to 28 days to be processed.

Please note that any discrepancies must be informed within 3 days of delivery.

Personal Guarantee of Limited Company’s Obligations

Payment obligations arising from orders placed by Limited company customers are taken to be jointly, severally and personally guaranteed by the directors of the company. By submitting your order you confirm that you have the authority of the directors to extend their personal guarantee to Rotaire.

Back Orders

Items which are not available at the time of order will be placed on back order, unless otherwise stated.

Change to Account Details

Any changes to account details must be received in writing prior to the changes being made. We are unable to accept changes to account details by telephone.

Made to Order Items

Any items which are Made to Order must be paid for at the time of ordering and are non-returnable.

All prices are those ruling at date of delivery and are subject to change without notice. Rotaire endeavours to maintain the pricing set out in its catalogues but these may be subject to change. VAT rates may vary dependent upon the country of destination and will be charged at the applicable rate.
